FAMILY SESSION DETAILS ...

Photo sessions should be relaxed and fun, letting kids be kids while still capturing those images the grandparents want to hang on their walls.

Sessions will either take place at a location that we choose or in your home.

Lighting is everything for an image, so I will typically suggest an hour or two before sundown. Living in the Pacific Northwest we have some of the best natural light diffusers around: gray skies. So, fear not! Even on a gray day, your images will pop with color and life.

WHAT TO WEAR ... 

Picking out outfits for the entire family can be a daunting task. I suggest picking a main color that can be carried throughout and then pair it with naturals. Don't be afraid to play with different hues of the main color or add a pop of color! 

Neutrals are ALWAYS a good idea. The photograph becomes less about the clothing and brings the focus back to where it belongs. And the image will work against any wall color in your home. 

DO include prints, patterns and fun accessories.

Stay away from logos or writing across the chest, as they are very distracting.

It is MOST important to wear something that you feel comfortable in or it will reflect in your body language. I am more than happy to talk wardrobe choices and colors with you so please, ask away!
